ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team will oppose Miami on Friday (March 19) in a CCHA Championship semifinal at Joe Louise Arena in Detroit. Game time has been set for 8:05 p.m. Tickets through the U-M Ticket Office are available by phone at (734) 764-0247 or (866) 296-MTIX (6849) or in person. Online ordering is not available. Lower bowl tickets are $22 each, while upper bowl tickets are $10 each.
Tickets may be picked up in Ann Arbor prior to 5 p.m. on Thursday (March 18). Otherwise tickets will be available for pick up at Joe Louis Arena's Olympia Room, which is located inside the West Entrance.
The Big Ten Network will broadcast the semifinal matchup between the Wolverines and RedHawks. Also, the game will be streamed live on FoxSportsDetroit.com.
Michigan is the No. 7 seed in the CCHA Tournament, while Miami is seeded No. 1 after winning the CCHA regular season. The other semifinal features No. 3 seed Ferris State against No. 4 seed Northern Michigan. That game will precede the Michigan/Miami contest and begin at 4:35 p.m., with TV coverage provided by Fox Sports Detroit and FoxSportsDetroit.com.
The CCHA Championship title game will take place on Saturday (March 20) and begin at 7:35 p.m. Fox Sports Detroit will broadcast the game and FoxSportsDetroit.com will provide a web stream. The third-place game will start at 3:35 p.m. but will not be televised or streamed online. The winner of the CCHA Championship earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
