ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey program's annual garage sale will now take place on Saturday, May 6, at Yost Ice Arena. Doors open at 8 a.m. The date was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 15.
Practice jerseys, new and used Nike apparel, sticks, skates and other hockey equipment will be available for purchase.
In addition, the hockey team is hosting a silent auction featuring three different styles of game-issued jerseys from the 2016-17 season. The four different jerseys available are Michigan's home white, road navy, alternate maize and the 1996 throwback maize.
All proceeds collected during the auction will benefit the U-M ice hockey program and the Michigan Hockey Endowed Scholarship Fund. The minimum bid is $225. Bids can be placed online at the jersey auction page.
Bidding will end Monday, April 10, at 5 p.m. EDT. Winners will be contacted no later than Friday, April 14, and jerseys will shipped on or before May 1.
