ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Tickets for the Blue/White Alumni game and the American Hockey League preseason game, between the Grand Rapids Griffins and Lake Erie Monsters, on Sunday, Oct. 7, at the newly renovated Yost Ice Arena are still available for $10 apiece at

The event will begin at 5 p.m., giving fans their first glimpse at the 2012-13 University of Michigan ice hockey team, with the Blue/White Alumni Game. Following the alumni contest, the Grand Rapids Griffins and Lake Erie Monsters, of the American Hockey League, will play an exhibition game beginning at 7 p.m. Former Michigan captain Luke Glendening (2009-12) signed an AHL contract with the Griffins last summer and Lake Erie is coached by former Michigan star David Oliver (1991-94).

In between the two games, fans will have the chance to interact with their favorite Michigan players during the annual "Skate with the Wolverines" event. "Skate with the Wolverines" is scheduled to run from approximately 5:45-6:15 p.m. The $10 ticket gets fans in the door for all three events.

Fan can also still purchase partial season ticket plans for the upcoming season starting at $69 per plan. There are two unique plans available which allow fans to choose from two to six games.
