Kevin Lynch Added to Stable of Wolverine Captains

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan ice hockey (No. 13 USA Today/ head coach Red Berenson announced today (Tuesday, Nov. 13) the appointment of senior forward Kevin Lynch (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) as an alternate captain for the remainder of the season.

Lynch will join captain A.J. Treais (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) and alternate captains Lee Moffie (Wallingford, Conn.) and Mac Bennett (Narragansett, R.I.) as Wolverines donning letters.

The 6-1, 209-pound forward ranks tied for fifth on the team with seven points (3g, 4a) in nine games this season. He has recorded two multiple-point games and posted a four-game point streak (3g, 2a) from Oct. 27 to Nov. 9.

The Wolverines return to action on Thursday (Nov. 15) when they host the Irish in the first game of the two-game series. Game time is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. starts. A limited number of tickets are still available and can be purchased by visiting
