Parking for the Big Chill at the Big House

Unless otherwise stated on this page, parking for the Big Chill at the Big House, scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Michigan Stadium, will be run like a football game. Please consult the football parking and traffic links below for further information.
Ann Arbor street parking restrictions for the Big Chill at the Big House are the same as a Football Saturday -- NO parking is allowed on public streets that are signed.
Game/Cash Sale Parking
The following lots will be available for day of game/cash sales parking:
- Brown Lot (Varsity Tennis Center): $20
- Grey Lot: $20
- Red Lot (weather permitting): $20
- Pioneer High School: $20
The following lots will be closed due to weather (updated 12/10/2010, 10:45 a.m.):
- University of Michigan Golf Course*
- Ann Arbor Golf and Outing
* Permit-only parking will be available at the Green Lot (golf course entrance off Stadium Blvd.)
Public: The Ann Arbor Transit Authority (AATA) will offer the same shuttle service it does for football, with service between Michigan Stadium and area hotels, U-M parking structures and lots, the Michigan Union, and downtown Ann Arbor. The shuttle runs approximately every 20 minutes beginning 2 hours before game time, and drops off passengers at Gate 2. Shuttles run for 60 minutes after the game and pick up passengers at the assigned location outside Gate 2. Tickets for the shuttles, priced at $1.50 each way, will be available at TheRide's main office (2700 South Industrial Highway) and at participating hotels. University Community: U-M Transportation Services will offer bus service for students, faculty and staff from North Campus to Central Campus Transit Center and from Central Campus to South Campus (same as home football Saturdays) on buses marked "M GO BLUE M," with drop-off at Administrative Services Building (south side of Hoover Street). Pregame service will run from 1:30 p.m. until after the opening 3 p.m. faceoff, and postgame service will run until fans are gone from South Campus. Handicapped parking is available in the following lots: Blue, Grey, Green, Champions North. Please call the Athletic Department Ticket Office at (734) 764-0247 for information about acquiring a permit for handicapped parking. There is a courtesy shuttle service for guests with a disability from several parkings lots and Michigan Stadium.
