Tyler Leppek earned the first start of his U-M career after coming off the bench in 12 other career appearances.

• Two freshman (Rylee Woods, Andre Morris) and a transfer(Marcos Ugarte) made their U-M debuts after finding their names in the starting XI for the Wolverines. Three other freshman; Brett Nason, Lars Eckenrode, and Ali Jawad also made their initial Wolverine appearances.

• The five goals are the most ever scored by the Wolverines in a season-opening matchup.

• The pair of assists marked the first time Tyler Arnone had more than one helper in a match.
