Michigan to Host DePaul Saturday in Final Exhibition Match

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's soccer team will host its lone home exhibition match Saturday (Aug. 24) against the DePaul Blue Demons. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. from U-M Soccer Stadium, and admission is free for all fans. Fans can follow periodic updates via the teams Twitter account, @UmichSoccer.

Michigan enters the match with a 1-0-1 ledger in the 2013 exhibition season, having tied No. 10 Louisville by a 1-1 score line on Aug. 17 and downing Cincinnati 2-0 on Aug. 18. Junior transfer Marcos Ugarte (Providence, R.I./Providence) has led the team's offensive efforts with two goals, as he scored off a free kick against the Cardinals and also netted a score against the Bearcats during the run of play in the second half.

The Maize and Blue opens up its 2013 slate on Friday (Aug. 30), as the squad welcomes the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers to Ann Arbor in a match that commences at 4 p.m.
