FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- University of Michigan freshman Kevin Bain (Northville, Mich./Northville) and classmate Jeff Camalo (Ann Arbor, Mich./Huron) finished first and second, respectively, in the men's three-meter diving competition Saturday (Dec. 31) at the Fort Lauderdale Diving Invitational.

Bain took the victory with a 294.60 total, followed by Camalo in second at 281.31, to conclude the team training during the squad's annual winter break trip.

The Wolverines open Big Ten competition next Saturday (Jan. 7) as they host the Indiana Hoosiers at Canham Natatorium. The Indiana visit to Ann Arbor will mark the second meeting between the two squads this season, as Michigan defeated Indiana, 216-84, on Nov. 5. The meet is slated to begin at noon and will run simultaneously with the Michigan women's team hosting the Hoosiers.
