The Wolverines, the defending national champions and current No. 1 team in the country, are looking for their fourth consecutive Big Ten title, a feat they haven't accomplished since the 1992-95 seasons. Four swimmers that won individual event titles last year will be looking to defend their titles, including Connor Jaeger (500-yard freestyle, 1,650-yard freestyle), Bruno Ortiz (50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle), Anders Nielsen (200-yard freestyle) and Dylan Bosch (200-yard butterfly). The Wolverines also won conference titles on all five relay races last season.
Michigan leads all Big Ten Conference teams in total team championships (37) and in individual, diving and relay champions (483).
