• Ran 4:08.04 in the Mile to finish 6th at the Notre Dame Invitational (Jan. 21)
• In his season debut at the Vanderbilt Commodore Invitational (Jan. 13-14), ran 8:12.61 over 3000 meters to finish seventh overall in a field of more than 60 athletes.

Junior (2016)
• At the NCAA Championships, placed 14th in the 10,000-meter run to secure second-team All-American honors in a time of 29:35.85
• At the NCAA East Preliminary Round (May 26), finished sixth in the 10K race in 30:04.60, punching his first career ticket to Eugene
• Won his first career conference title at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, finishing the 10,000-meter run in 29:35.32
• Ran 14:06.85 for an outdoor PR in the 5K at the Payton Jordan Invitational (May 1)
• Made 10,000 meter debut in the Invitational section at the Mount Sac Relays (April 14), finishing eighth in 29:13.72
