Tiberia Patterson returns for his fourth season overall as a volunteer assistant coach, working with U-M sprinters and hurdlers. Patterson started the indoor season last year with the Wolverines before taking an interim assistant coach position with the Eastern Michigan men's track & field team.
Patterson was an NCAA All-American and Mid-American Conference (MAC) champion at Eastern Michigan University in high hurdles. He graduated in 1994 with a degree in criminal justice. He got his start in coaching at Lehigh University, where he was an assistant coach in 1994 and 1995, coaching the sprints and hurdles group.
