Former Hurdler Porter Clinches Spot on U.S. Olympic Team

EUGENE, Ore. -- Former University of Michigan men's track and field hurdler Jeff Porter (2004-07) clinched a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team after finishing third in the 110-meter hurdles at the Olympic Trials on Saturday (June 30) at Oregon's Hayward Field.

Porter clocked a personal-best time of 13.08 to earn his first trip to the Olympic Games in London.

Michigan will not have any current or former athletes competing on the final day of the trials, which will be televised live on NBC from 7-8 p.m.
