Adam Coon, the 2015 NCAA heavyweight runner-up and two-year wrestling team captain, is featured among the second round of new Faces of the Big Ten PSAs.

Sophomore (2014-15)
• Academic All-Big Ten, NWCA All-Academic
• NCAA All-American
• Claimed third place at the NCAA Championships (March 17-19) with a 5-1 record
• Pinned Virginia Tech's #3 Ty Walz in overtime (7:57) in the third-place match; also pinned Oregon State's Amarveer Dhesi (0:48) in the consolation semis
• Took runner-up honors at the Big Ten Championships (March 5-6) with a 3-1 record; fell to Ohio State's Kyle Snyder, 7-4, in the championship match
• Capped Michigan's comeback win at Rutgers with a first-period pin (1:25) against #13 Billy Smith in the final bout (Feb. 7)
• Cruised to an 11-2 major decision vs. Illinois #19 Brooks Black (Jan. 15)
• Used a pair of early takedowns to defeat Oregon State's #10 Amarveer Dhesi, 6-3 (Jan. 7)
• Missed the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational to participate in the U.S. Open (Dec. 17-19), where he posted a 4-0 record en route to the Greco-Roman 130kg title; also won the 130kg Greco title at the Bill Farrell International Open (Nov. 7-9), pinning Toby Erickson (5:19) in the championship match
• Posted a 3-0 record at the season-opening Northeast Duals (Nov. 15)

• Claimed second place at the NCAA Championships (March 19-21) with a 4-1 record; fell to NC State's #1 Nick Gwiazdowski, 7-6, in the heavyweight championship
• Won a wild overtime scramble with one second remaining to defeat Northwestern's #2 Mike McMullan, 3-1 SV, in NCAA semifinals; also defeated Missouri's #8 Devin Mellon (5-2) and Maryland's #12 Spencer Myers (2-1) at NCAAs

• Suffered first collegiate loss to Michigan State's #9 Mike McClure, 5-1 (Jan. 24)
• Clinched Michigan's win over #2 Minnesota with a 4-2 SV2 decision over two-time defending NCAA champion Tony Nelson (Jan. 19)
• Rolled to a 14-4 major decision over Purdue's Alex White in Big Ten dual debut (Jan. 10)
• Used a late takedown to secure a 4-1 decision against Maryland's #7 Spencer Myers (Jan. 5)
• Captured the heavyweight title at the Midlands Championships (Dec. 29-30) with a 5-0 record; defeated Iowa's #4 Bobby Telford, 3-2, in the final
• Captured the heavyweight title at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational (Dec. 6-7) with a 5-0 record
• Defeated Boise's State #5 J.T. Felix, 7-5 SV, in the CKLV championship match; also beat NC State's #3 Nick Gwiazdowski, 3-1 SV, in the quarterfinals
