• Captured the 197-pound freshman/sophomore title at the Michigan State Open (Nov. 15) with a 4-0 record; beat Michigan State's Matthew Okaiye, 8-2, in the final
• Took runner-up honors at the Edinboro Open (Feb. 6) and the Purple Raider Open (Jan. 17), posting 4-1 records at both events
• Also placed at the Cleveland State Open (Dec. 12) and season-opening Eastern Michigan Open (Nov. 7)
• Earned a 7-0 decision against Central Michigan's Diallo Matsimela in collegiate debut at the EMU Open
