• Redshirted season; competed unattached in three open tournaments
• Posted a 5-1 record en route to third place at 174 pounds at the Edinboro Open (Feb. 6); pinned Clarion's Mike Pavasko (4:00) in the third-place bout
• Took runner-up honors at 174 pounds at the Alma Open (Jan. 23) with a 3-1 record
• Captured the 165-pound title at the Cleveland State Open (Dec. 12) with a 5-0 record; defeated Central Michigan's Jordan Atienza, 11-3, in the championship match
• Earned a 21-6 technical fall against Shorter University's Kade Kitchens in collegiate debut
