Profaci Earns At-Large Selection to NCAA Championships

Profaci Earns At-Large Bid to NCAA Wrestling Championships

Sophomore/Freshman (2016-17)
• Academic All-Big Ten; U-M Athletic Academic Achievement Award
• NCAA Qualifier; posted a 0-2 record at the NCAA Championships (March 16-18)
• Earned an NCAA at-large selection after finishing 10th -- one spot out of the automatic qualifiers -- at the Big Ten Championships (March 4-5); posted a 1-3 record at Big Tens
• Used an early takedown to defeat Lehigh's #11 Randy Cruz, 3-2, in Michigan's home finale (Jan. 29)
• Earned back-to-back road wins against Illinois' Mousa Jodeh (5-2, Jan. 20) and Northwestern's Alex McKenna (7-3, Jan. 22)
• Posted a 2-2 record at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational (Dec. 2-3); earned a 10-4 decision against Navy's #18 Jared Prince in the second round
• Cruised to a 12-4 major decision against Oklahoma's Mike Longo (Nov. 18)
• Dropped a 12-6 decision to Virginia's #10 George DiCamillo in dual debut (Nov. 11)
