Michigan Assistant Coach Sean Bormet
On the Wolverines' fast start ... "We started off well with the momentum of winning those first four weights, which is a great start to any dual meet. I do think we left some points on the mat in a few of those lowerweight matches. We could have scored a little more, but they did a good job getting us rolling. Our biggest thing is getting our guys to continue wrestling the way they need to wrestle to win those matches at the Big Tens and NCAAs, especially when they get down to the tough rounds. You have to be offensive minded in all positions. I think we did a pretty good job tonight, but we still have to be a little hungrier to score."
On Eric Grajales' win streak ... "Eric's results have been very good, but I'm most pleased with his work ethic right now in our training -- our morning training and in our practice. I'm extremely pleased with the way he's approaching it, and I think that's showing in his confidence on the mat."
On Taylor Massa's stretch of bonus wins ... "Taylor has been doing a good job. He's fighting through some adversity right now, and he's doing good job staying focused and scoring a lot of points. I really like that he's offensive minded. He's trying to score and build leads. He wants the most pins on the team, the most back points and bonus points. We need a room full of that right now. I don't mind that it's a freshman setting that tone as long as someone is doing it. Now we need that to catch fire. You need to be practicing that way, building your confidence and willing to take risks."
On tonight's dual win ... "All wins feel good. I think it was a missed opportunity for Ben Apland. He started slow in that match and that really hurt him. But overall, our training is going well. These last two dual meets have been very positive, and we've got to have another positive one on Sunday."
