Wolverines to be Featured on BTN Six Times in 2013-14

CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference and the Big Ten Network announced today (Wednesday, Oct. 30) that the University of Michigan wrestling team will be featured seven times by the network this season.

A total 56 events will be shown on television or online, including a record 48 events that will be streamed live on the Big Ten Digital Network (BTDN) at video.btn.com. A large number of those streamed events will also be televised on delay as Student U. All sessions of the Big Ten Championships (March 8-9) will be available live, with a three-hour live BTN broadcast of the championship finals.

Six Michigan wrestling dual meets will be streamed live on BTDN, while one dual will be broadcast nationally on the Big Ten Network. The Wolverines will kick off the BTN wrestling schedule with a web broadcast of their non-conference dual against Oregon State on Nov. 17. Michigan will also live stream its home duals against Stanford (Nov. 25), Minnesota (Jan. 19) and Michigan State (Jan. 27), while its Feb. 2 home dual against defending NCAA champion Penn State will appear live on the network. Road duals at Nebraska (Feb. 7) and Iowa (Feb. 9) will stream live on BTDN.

In addition to their live BTN events, the Wolverines road dual meet at Pittsburgh (Feb. 15) will stream live on ESPN3.com.
