Mike was a five-year member of the football team from 2002 - 2006. After originally walking on as a Quarterback, Mike played Strong Safety during his final four seasons. He was a part of two Big Ten Championship teams and attended three Rose Bowls while earning his bachelor's degree in sports management and communications as well as a master's degree in kinesiology. Mike was named the team's 2006 Ben Huff Champion of the Year which is awarded to the player that provides leadership, focus, and spirit to the demonstration squad.
Mike is currently working in commercial real estate for Plante Moran Cresa - Plante Moran's real estate consulting division. In his role as senior associate, transaction management, Mike brings five plus years of experience in tenant representation and agency leasing.
Prior to joining Plante Moran, Mike was a Vice President for Jones Lang LaSalle. During his time with Jones Lang LaSalle, he was responsible for advising a variety of significant corporate clients and assisting on projects involving institutional landlords. In 2011, Mike was involved in more than 1.25 million square feet of completed transactions which earned him recognition as one of the Jones Lang LaSalle's "Top Achievers". He was also named a CoStar PowerBroker in 2009 and 2011.
Mike resides in Birmingham, Michigan.
