Mike is a 1996 U-M graduate from Chatsworth, California. He lettered in baseball in 1994, 1995 and 1996, and earned his degree in Sports Management and Communications from the School of Kinesiology. Mike comes from a family of Michigan graduates led by his Michigan letterwinning wife Hayley (track & field '99), uncle William Muir (football '66), father Douglas Muir and uncle David Muir. Mike and Hayley reside in Ann Arbor with sons Jackson, Reed and Michael.
