Scott attended the University on a track scholarship for Shot Put and Discus having previously won the State Shot Put title for Carman-Ainsworth (Michigan) in 1990. During his tenure at Michigan he received 7th at the Big Ten Championships two years in a row for Javelin and graduated with a BS in Secondary Education. After graduating he served 4 years in the Navy and changed career paths to focus on Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. He is currently serving as Director of Marketing Intelligence at Enlighten and lives in Grand Blanc, MI with his wife Melissa and two boys Talon and Mason.
