Former Wolverine Namesnik Had a Passion for Swimming, Family

Eric Namesnik was an All-American and Silver Medalist at the '92 and '96 Olympics. One of the nice guys in the sport, he lost his life in a car accident during an ice storm in 2006. This week the Eric Namesnik Michigan Grand Prix will be held April 8-10 at the University of Michigan. Michael Phelps and Natalie Coughlin will be two of the competitors in this meet.
