Bob Stites Starts Term As M Club President

Robert (Bob) Stites is the new president of the University of Michigan Letterwinners Club. He replaces outgoing president Mary Petrovich.

Stites, a native of Ann Arbor and graduate of Pioneer High School, played football for the Pioneers and he - along with his twin brother Rick--caught the attention of U-M assistant football coaches Gary Moeller and Milan Vooletich. Both Stites brothers were given preferred walk-on status and played at U of M from 1984-1987 for Bo Schembechler. He graduated from the University in 1988 with a BGS Degree from the School of LS&A.

Upon graduating, Bob worked at Domino's Pizza World Headquarters and attended graduate school at Eastern Michigan University. In 1990 he entered the financial services

business. In 1997, along with his twin brother Rick, they founded Stites Financial LLC, a Financial Advisor firm in Ann Arbor.

Bob is currently continuing his education at The Kaplan School of Continuing Education for a CFP degree. He currently holds his Investment License series 6, 7, 63, and 65. Besides his Financial Firm, Bob serves as a board member and treasurer for the DDA in Scio Township. Bob also donates his time to Mott's Children's Hospital. He is a past board member of the National Association of Remodeling and the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce.

He continues to live in the Ann Arbor area with his wife and two daughters.
