Today's game was the 57th meeting between the Wolverines and Badgers. With the victory, Michigan moves to 38-19 against Wisconsin. The victory is U-M's first over Wisconsin since a 70-42 win on Feb. 1, 2009.
Michigan moves to 10-2 on the season when scoring 60 or more points. Additionally, U-M moves to 45-2 in the Kevin Borseth era when reaching 70 or more points.
U-M also moves to 9-2 when leading at halftime this season. The Wolverines' last loss after leading at halftime was against Purdue on Jan. 6.
Michigan tied the Badgers 31-31 in rebounds. U-M has outrebounded only two opponents this season. When the Wolverines keep the rebounding margin to fewer than 10 rebounds they are now 10-0 on the season.
U-M extended its three-pointer streak to 145 consecutive games. U-M has hit at least one three-pointer in every game in each of the last four seasons.
Rachel Sheffer had nine rebounds, breaking her career high for the second straight game. Her previous high was eight against Michigan State on Jan. 9.
Carmen Reynolds recorded her second 20-point game of the season and eighth of her career. It was her fifth game in double figures in U-M's last six games
Veronica Hicks recorded her second consecutive 20-point game. Hicks' 21 points led the Wolverines in scoring, which marks the seventh time she has been U-M's leading scorer this season.
Veronica Hicks posted a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. It marked the first time this season that she has been in double figures in rebounding.
Today was Daddy/Daughter Day at Crisler Arena. A postgame square dance was led by the Michigan dance team on the Crisler Arena floor.
