• Michigan used the starting lineup of Rachel Sheffer, Nya Jordan, Jenny Ryan, Kate Thompson and Nicole Elmblad for the 18th straight game. U-M has only had two different starting lineups this season.

Nicole Elmblad hit her first three-pointer of Big Ten play in the contest.

• It was Michigan's first win at Mackey Arena since Feb. 8, 1998. Michigan is the first team to win at Mackey Arena this season.

• With a three-pointer to open the game, Kate Thompson set a new school standard for three-pointers in a season with 86. She was tied with Carmen Reynolds at 85 prior to today's game. She finished with six three-pointers in the game, pushing her season total to 91.

Kate Thompson recorded her 18th game with at least three three-pointers and her 10th game with at least five. She finished with six three-pointers in the game.

• Michigan is now 16-1 when leading at halftime.

Nya Jordan had her fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds. She recorded her third consecutive double-digit scoring game.

• Michigan out-rebounded Purdue, 34-24. Michigan is now 13-2 when outrebounding its opponent this season.

• U-M picked up its first win over a ranked opponent this season (1-2).

• Michigan's last win over a ranked opponent came on Feb. 9, 2012, at No. 13-ranked Nebraska.

• Every Wolverine who played scored at least two points.
