• Michigan trails the all-time series, 54-15, with Michigan State. Michigan has dropped the last six meetings. U-M's last win was during the 2007-08 season at Crisler Arena.

• Freshman Dayeesha Hollins extended her streak of games in double figures to three consecutive games with 19 points in tonight's game. She has been in double figures 18 times this season and has scored 15 or more points in eight games this season.

• The Wolverines reached double-figure steals for the second consecutive game with 11 steals tonight. Michigan also had 11 steals against Minnesota on Feb. 7. U-M has posted double-figure steals in eight games this season.

• Michigan was held to a season-low three assists in tonight's contest. The Wolverines had posted double-figures assists in each of the last nine games. They have reached double-figure assists in 22 games this season.

• Junior Veronica Hicks has now been in double figures in scoring in 17 games this season with her 17 points in tonight's game.

• Sophomore Carmen Reynolds posted a career high with four steals in tonight's contest. Her previous high was three steals, set against Ball State (Nov. 13).

• Michigan was outscored by an opponent in the second half for the first time in seven games. The Wolverines were outscoring their opponents by an average of 5.5 points per game in the second half.

• The Wolverines were held to less than 40-percent shooting from the floor for the first time in the last five games with a 28.8-percent shooting percentage (15-of-52). U-M is second in the Big Ten in field-goal percentage at .442 (583-of-1320).

• Michigan State's Allyssa DeHaan tied the NCAA's all-time shot block record with one block in tonight's game. She is tied with Sandora Itvin (Texas Christian University), who is the all-time leader with 480 blocks.

• There were 4,273 fans in attendance for tonight's game. It is the second consecutive game U-M has had 4,000 or more fans. The Wolverines average 2,669 fans per game.

• There were several Michigan/Michigan State connections in tonight's game. Michigan assistant coach Tianna Kirkland and Director of Operations Lisa Savoury were a part of Michigan State head coach Suzy Merchant's staff at Eastern Michigan, while Michigan State assistant coach Tempie Brown played at Michigan (1986-90).
