• Michigan State leads the all-time series 56-15 and has won each of the last seven games. The last time Michigan defeated Michigan State was during the 2007-08 season, the first meeting between current Michigan head coach Kevin Borseth and current Michigan State head coach Suzy Merchant.

• Today's game was the second time Michigan and Michigan State have met in Big Ten Tournament action. The teams squared off in the inaugural Big Ten Tournament in 1995, an 89-51 Michigan State win. Michigan State holds a 2-0 advantage in Big Ten Tournament games.

• U-M's free throw shooting percentage of .938 is the best it's done from the free throw line this season when shooting at least 10 free throws. Michigan shot .818 (9-of-11) at Indiana (Jan. 14) and was a perfect 6-of-6 at Minnesota (Feb. 25).

• The Wolverines were outrebounded for the first time in the last three games. U-M is averaging 37.9 rebounds this season, up from 32.5 rebounds last season.

• U-M posted double-digit steals for the ninth time this season with 10 thefts in tonight's contest.

Veronica Hicks posted a career-high five steals against MSU. She had posted four steals on four occasions.

Carmen Reynolds extended her double figure scoring streak to two consecutive games with 10 points today. She has been in double figures in 21 games this season.

Dayeesha Hollins has made 10 consecutive free throws after going 2-of-2 in today's game. She is shooting .678 for the season from the free throw line.

• Krista Phillip extended her double-figures scoring streak to three consecutive games. She has been in double figures in 18 games this season.

• Michigan wore its Blue uniforms in today's contest. The Wolverines move to 6-5 when wearing Blue uniforms.
