Madison Ristovski came off the bench to contribute 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting. She converted 4-of-7 from three and hit both free throws. Ristovski posted five points in the first half, hitting a three-pointer and a step-back jumper at the end of the shot clock.

Siera Thompson scored a team-high 11 points in the first half. It is the second straight Big Ten Tournament game that the freshman reached double digits in scoring.

Shannon Smith finished the game with eight points, five assists, two rebounds and two assists. She posted five points, three assists and two steals in the first half.

Cyesha Goree tallied six points on 3-of-4 shooting during the first 20 minutes and finished the contest with eight points and two rebounds.

Nicole Elmblad led the Wolverines with eight rebounds before fouling out.

• Michigan shot 50 percent from three (5-of-10) and hit 45.5 percent of its shots from the field (20-44).
