• Michigan moves to 14-8 in the all-time series against the Eagles. Today's meeting was the first between the two Washtenaw County schools since the 2004-05 season. The Wolverines also move to 74-50 all-time against opponents from the Mid-American Conference.

• The Wolverines move to 2-2 all-time in WNIT first-round action. U-M has only played three road games in its five WNIT appearances.

• Today's game marks the second-ever St. Patrick's Day game in program history for the Wolverines. U-M last played on St. Patrick's Day back in 1990 when it lost to NC State in the second of the NCAA Tournament.

• U-M extended its three-point shooting streak to 158 consecutive games. The last time Michigan did not hit a three-pointer was during the 2005-2006 season.

• U-M's 11 assists mark the 25th time with 10 or more assists this season. Michigan now holds a 16-9 record when posting double-figure assists.

• Michigan moves to 16-3 this season when keeping the rebounding margin to 10 or less.

Rachel Sheffer posted her 15th game in double figures this season with 20 points. Sheffer has been in double figures in 11 of U-M's last 13 games and has posted four 20-point games this season.

Val Driscoll made her first appearance since the Michigan State game on Feb. 13.

• There are lots of U-M/Eastern Michigan ties. Current Eastern Michigan assistant coach Yvette Harris coached at U-M from 1996-2001, while current U-M assistant coach Tianna Kirkland roamed the Eastern Michigan sidelines during the 2005-06 season.
