Senior Val Driscoll made her first career start in today's contest. Five Wolverines have made their first career starts this weekend (Shannon Smith, Cyesha Goree, Siera Thompson, Madison Ristovski and Driscoll).
Michigan and Arizona met for the first time in program history in today's contest.
It is Michigan's first overtime contest since losing to Minnesota on Feb. 24, 2011. That was also a game that was sent to overtime on a buzzer beater after Veronica Hicks (2008-11) banked in a 40-foot shot as time expired.
