• For the second consecutive game, Michigan used the starting lineup of Brenae Harris, Jenny Ryan, Kate Thompson, Nicole Elmblad and Rachel Sheffer.

• Michigan leads the all-time series with Xavier, 4-2, and has won the last two games at the Cintas Center.

Madison Ristovski scored the first field goal of her career at the 5:12 mark of the first half. She also hit the first three-pointer of her career, banking in a 30-footer as the shot-clock expired with 3:31 to go in the first. She scored a career-high nine points.

Sam Arnold scored her first points of the season on a lay-up at the 9:36 mark of the first half.

• Michigan had 10 blocks in the contest for the first time since recording the same total at Kentucky on Nov. 15, 2008.

Brenae Harris grabbed seven rebounds in the contest to set a new career high. Her previous best was four against Illinois State on Dec. 22, 2011.

Jenny Ryan had four steals in the contest, pushing her career total to 232. She now sits third all-time in Michigan history. It was her 33rd career game with at least three steals.

Kate Thompson recorded a career-best four blocks in the contest. She had three previous games with three blocks.
