• Michigan used the starting lineup of Madison Ristovski, Siera Thompson, Shannon Smith, Cyesha Goree and Nicole Elmblad for the second straight game.

Nicole Elmblad recorded her fourth straight game with at least 10 rebounds, finishing with 13 boards.

Shannon Smith has scored in double figures in all five of Michigan's games, going for 14 tonight.

• Western Michigan leads the all-time series against Michigan, 15-12, but U-M has won nine of the last 10 in the series.
