Michigan moves to 3-3 with tonight's loss at Marquette, the only BIG EAST team on Michigan's schedule this season. The Wolverines move to 29-20 against teams from the BIG EAST.
U-M's 22 first-half points are the fewest this season and the fewest the Wolverines have scored since posting 22 in the opening frame last season against Michigan State. Prior to today's game, Michigan had posted at least 40 points in the first half in each game.
Michigan's 19 turnovers are the most this season. The Wolverines last had 19 turnovers in the opening round the 2010 WNIT against Kent State.

There were plenty of Maize and Blue fans at the Marquette game. There was a section of about 40-45 Michigan fans including Veronica Hicks' family, Sam Arnolds' family as well as Jim Reynolds, who has only missed one game in Carmen's career thus far.
