2012 Michigan Field Hockey Schedule

CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference and the Big Ten Network announced today (Thursday, Aug. 9) its schedule for the 2012 field hockey season. The University of Michigan will have at least two games aired live on the network this fall. Each BTN broadcast will also be available on BTN2Go.

A total of 15 field hockey matches will be shown on television or online this fall. BTN's live coverage of field hockey includes a game every Friday, culminating with the Big Ten Tournament final on Sunday, Nov. 4. The network will also air both Big Ten Tournament semifinal games for the first time.

The Wolverines will make their first appearance on the BTN on Friday, Oct. 12, when they hosts in-state rival Michigan State at 3 p.m. at Phyllis Ocker Field. Michigan's road contest at Iowa, scheduled for 2 p.m. CDT on Friday, Oct. 26, will also air live.

The Big Ten Network streaming and Student U field hockey schedule will be released at a later date.
