N O T E S

Linda Luo opened her round with nine consecutive pars before suffering a double bogey on No. 10 and a bogey on 11. She played the last seven holes in one under, birdieing the par-4 13th.

Linda Luo's two-over 74 is her best score of the spring schedule (seven rounds) and matches the third-lowest round of her freshman season.

Alyssa Shimel toured the front nine in two under par, making birdies on holes 1, 6 and 9 along with a bogey on No. 8 for 34 going out. She birdied No. 13 to get back to -2 but closed the round with a double bogey on No. 15 followed by three straight bogeys.

• After opening with five bogeys in the first seven holes, Yugene Lee played her last 11 holes in one over par, with a birdie on No. 8 and a double bogey on No. 12.

• Playing as an individual, Chelsea Pezzola made her first tournament appearance of the season. Her 77 included a birdie on the par-5 ninth hole, four bogeys and a double bogey.

• Michigan will be paired with Cincinnati and SMU in the second round and start on No. 10 with tee times running from 8:24 to 8:56 a.m.
