Alyssa Shimel posted Michigan's lowest score of the day, shooting a six-over-par 76 that included a birdie on the par-4 fifth hole, five bogeys and a double bogey.
Meagan Bauer played the four par-3 holes in one under par, making one birdie (No. 7) and three pars.
Michigan started its rounds off the 10th tee.
After an opening-round 74, Linda Luo shot 80 on Saturday. She was two over after 11 holes before a bad four-hole stretch during which she was seven over par. She closed the round with a birdie on the par-5 ninth (her 18th).
Windier conditions led to higher scores on the second day of the Clover Cup. Only two of the 12 teams (Tulsa and Cincinnati) improved upon their first-day totals.
Sunday's final round will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. MST. The Wolverines will be paired with SMU and Cincinnati for the second day in a row and will start on holes 12-15.
