• Mon-Sun., Aug. 8-14, 2011 -- Yugene Lee competed at the 2011 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, Rhode Island. After posting rounds of 79 and 78, she tied for 125th with a 157 stroke play qualifying score and did not advance to match play. [ U.S. Women's Amateur | Stroke Play Leaderboard ]


• Mon-Fri., July 25-29, 2011 -- Meagan Bauer closed as the runner-up at the 2011 Michigan Women's Amateur Championship, held at the Prestwick Village Golf Club in Highland, Mich. After firing rounds of 74 and 75, Bauer was the 10th seed heading into the match-play bracket. Cruising her way to the championship match, Bauer lost to MSU's Carrie Meier 1-up in the finale. After running into trouble on the first few holes, Bauer fell 2-down early and despite a strong finish on the back-nine was unable to complete the comeback. Incoming freshman Devon Compton earned the 18th seed (75-77/152) and won her first two matches -- Hannah Lewis (5-and-3) and Maddi Massa (3-and-1). She was eliminated in the quarterfinal by Meagan Bauer, 5-and-4. Shana Bauer (74-74/148) earned the sixth seed but was eliminated in the first round of match play by Lindsey McPherson, 1-up. • Tuesday, July 19, 2011 -- Using a round of 74 at the Ansley Golf Club in Roswell, Ga., Yugene Lee was one of eight sectional qualifiers for the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship to be held Monday through Friday, Aug. 8-14, at the Rhode Island Country Club. • Wed-Thu., July 13-14, 2011 -- Shana Bauer tied for 13th at the 20th GAM Women's Championship at Gull Lake Country Club in Richland (Kalamazoo) after posting a 155 (85-70) total. Jenn Cleary was also in the field, tying for 55th at 171 (85-86). [ Final Leaderboard ]


• Mon-Thu., July 11-14, 2011 -- Incoming freshman Lauren Grogan used rounds of 70, 79 and 76 to close with a 225 tally to finish as the medalist runner-up at the 2011 Columbus Junior Presented by the Memorial Tournament at the OSU Golf Club. [ Final Leaderboard ]


• Wed-Thu., July 6-7, 2011 -- Yugene Lee fired back-to-back rounds of 75 to tie for eighth with a 150 total at the 2011 Georgia Women's Open at the SummerGrove Golf Club in Newnan, Ga. [ Georgia Women's Open ]


Tue-Wed, June 28-29, 2011 -- After shooting rounds of 70 and 73 for a 143 tally, Yugene Lee posted a third place finish at the 30th Georgia Top 60 Women's Classic played at the The Brickyard in Macon, Ga. [ Final Leaderboard | Lee Scorecard ]


Mon-Thu., June 20-23, 2011 -- After shooting a one-over 72 in the stroke-play qualifier, Alyssa Shimel earned the No. 2 seed in the Women's Ohio State Amateur Championship at the Quail Hollow Country Club in Concord, Ohio. After chalking up four straight match-play wins, Shimel advanced to the championship match. However, she dropped a 3-and-2 decision to Erin Misheff to finish as the runner-up. Monday, June 6, 2001 -- Meagan Bauer qualified for her first professional tournament on the LPGA Futures Tour, even though she will play as an amateur. After shooting a 73, with her mom (Jackie) as her caddie, she earned a spot in the 2011 Teva Championship at the Golf Center at Kings Island. After opening with an 81, Bauer shot a second-round 76, missing the cut to the weekend. [ Teva Championship ]


Tuesday, May 31, 2011 -- Alyssa Shimel and incoming freshman Devon Compton both qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship as they both tied for medalist honors, along with Alainna Stefan, with rounds of 79 at the Eagle Eye Golf Club in Bath, Mich.
