It was the first tri-meet held at Crisler Center since Feb. 13, 2011, against Stanford and Nebraska.
U-M is now 9-1 all-time against BYU and 14-5 all-time against Kent State.
The last time U-M scored 49.550 or higher on floor exercise came on March 10, 2013, at UCLA.
It was Michigan's third home meet of the season and first since Jan. 31 against Michigan State. In three home meets, U-M is averaging 197.108 compared to 196.395 in five road meets.
Michigan scored at or above 49.000 on all four events for the first time since Jan. 25 vs. Ohio State.
U-M can include Friday's score in its RQS and drop its 196.200 from last Friday (Feb. 21) at the Perfect 10 Challenge. It is now able to include all three home scores, bringing its RQS to 196.795, up from 195.595.
The Wolverines scored above their season averages on all four events. They were averaging 49.279 on vault (49.425), 49.161 on uneven bars (49.225), 48.911 on balance beam (49.000) and 49.236 on floor exercise (49.550). Additionally, U-M scored 197.200, which is nearly seven tenths-of-a-point better than their season average (196.586).
With four more wins tonight, U-M gymnasts have won 26 of 32 event titles this season.
Joanna Sampson did not compete on uneven bars (rest). It is the first meet since Feb. 24, 2013 (at West Virginia), that she did not compete as an all-arounder. It is the first time she has been out of the uneven bars lineup in a meet since her freshman season (excludes 2012 NCAA Preliminaries when she qualified as an individual on vault only and 2013 NCAA Individual Event Finals when she was on vault and floor exercise).
Austin Sheppard received a 9.975 for the second time this season. The other time came on Jan. 31 vs. Michigan State. It is Sheppard's first vault above 9.900 since that meet against the Spartans.
Lindsay Williams was in the uneven bars lineup for the second time this season. She scored 9.750 at Illinois back on Feb. 7.
Brooke Parker recorded a career high on floor exercise (9.900). Her previous high at Michigan came at Illinois on Feb. 7 (9.775).
