Michigan improves to 15-0 all-time against Iowa State. The Wolverines have beaten the Cyclones three times this season (others: Jan. 26 at Minnesota, March 10 at UCLA).
The win over Iowa State on Saturday gave Michigan a perfect 5-0 record at Crisler Center this season. It is the program's third undefeated home slate in the last five years (2009, 2010).
The Wolverines' score of 196.825 is its third-lowest score of the season (196.575 at Cancun Classic on Jan. 4, 196.775 vs. Iowa on Feb. 2). It is only the third time in 11 meets that Michigan had failed to score above 196.900 this season.
The win over Iowa State capped Michigan's regular-season record at 17-1, its best since 2008 (18-1).
Michigan matched its season high on vault (49.550) against Iowa State. It also scored 49.550 last Sunday (March 10) at UCLA.
Joanna Sampson has won the floor exercise title in seven straight meets, scoring above 9.925 each time. She entered the week ranked No. 1 in the country in that event (9.940 RQS).
Joanna Sampson has eight all-around titles this season and 12 for her career. She also has 18 scores of 39.000 or above in the all-around for her career, 11th-most all-time.
Natalie Beilstein's previous career high on uneven bars was 9.900, set Feb. 8 at Ohio State.
Stephanie Colbert returned to the lineup on vault. She did not compete last Sunday at UCLA.
