MICHIGAN RESUMES BIG TEN SCHEDULE WITH GOPHER TILT

The No. 13-ranked University of Michigan women's gymnastics team (7-1, 2-0 Big Ten) returns from a three-week road trip and resumes the Big Ten schedule facing Minnesota (4-5, 1-3 Big Ten) in a dual-meet showdown on Saturday (Feb. 13) at 6 p.m. inside Crisler Arena.
Freshman Natalie Beilstein has proved herself the best freshman in the conference so far, winning four Big Ten Freshman of the Week laurels in four weeks of competition and ranking in the top 20 in the nation on three events. Junior Kylee Botterman has a team-best 11 individual titles this season and is coming off a career-high 39.550 in the all-around at West Virginia last weekend. Senior co-captain Kelsey Knutson is tied for 18th in the nation on beam, while senior Sarah Curtis is tied for 19th in the nation on bars.
Promotions: The first 500 fans to Crisler Arena will receive a free Michigan Go Blue t-shirt. All elementary school students can also get in free with this coupon. As always, prizes and giveaways will be available all meet long and select gymnasts will be available for autographs following the meet.

Three Days Shy of Three Years
Michigan has not lost to a Big Ten school since February 16, 2007. When Michigan faces Minnesota on Feb. 13, it will be three days short of three years since U-M has taken an "L" against a conference squad. U-M has picked up 30 straight Big Ten wins over that span.
Beilstein Four-for-Four for Big Ten Awards
Newcomer Natalie Beilstein picked up her third straight and fourth overall Big Ten Freshman of the Week laurel (Feb. 8). Beilstein scored a career-best 9.900 to win the vault title last week at West Virginia (Feb. 5), taking runner-up on beam and floor. Her 9.850 on beam was also a career high.

Botterman is the Big Ten's Best All-Arounder
Junior Kylee Botterman is the best all-arounder in the Big Ten this season, posting a season average of 39.215 and winning four all-around titles in five meets.
Undefeated on the Big Ten Network
Michigan has never lost when appearing on the Big Ten Network. The Wolverines have competed on the BTN 10 times in program history. U-M is a perfect 20-0 in those meets, including title wins at the 2008 and 2009 Big Ten Championships.
