The No. 16-ranked University of Michigan women's gymnastics team (8-1, 2-0 Big Ten) faces its toughest test of the season, hosting No. 5 Utah (5-1) on Friday (Feb. 19) at 7:30 p.m. in Crisler Arena. A perennial powerhouse in NCAA gymnastics, Utah brings the nation's fourth-best balance beam team and the fifth-best floor exercise lineup to Ann Arbor to try and break the Wolverines' eight-meet home win streak.

Freshman Natalie Beilstein has proved herself the best freshman in the conference so far, winning four Big Ten Freshman of the Week laurels in five weeks of competition and ranking in the top 25 in the nation on vault and floor. Junior Kylee Botterman has a team-best 12 individual titles this season and is the Big Ten's top all-arounder with a 39.188 average. Senior co-captain Kelsey Knutson is tied for 13th in the nation on beam, while senior Sarah Curtis is tied for 17th in the nation on bars.

Promotions: The Utah meet will be circus day at Crisler Arena. The concourse will be transformed into a circus with face painting, clowns, balloon animals and sno-cones! All elementary school students can also get in free with this coupon. As always, prizes and giveaways will be available all meet long and select gymnasts will be available for autographs following the meet.
