PARK RIDGE, Ill. -- University of Michigan women's gymnast Sachi Sugiyama (Keller, Texas/Keller) was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Monday (Feb. 27), the announcement coming from the conference office. It is the first weekly honor for Sugiyama and the first conference honor of any kind for the Wolverines this season.
