MICHIGAN CELEBRATES SENIOR NIGHT AGAINST #3 ALABAMA
Friday, March 4, 7 p.m. -- vs. No. 3 Alabama (Crisler Arena)
Live Results | TV: Big Ten Network (Tape Delay: Sunday, March 13, at 2 p.m.)

The ninth-ranked University of Michigan women's gymnastics team (10-4, 4-1 Big Ten) faces its third straight No. 3 team this week when third-ranked Alabama (9-1, 5-1 SEC) travels to Crisler Arena on Friday (March 4) at 7 p.m.

Alabama is red hot after beating No. 5 Georgia last week in Athens with a season-high 197.675 score. Alabama is one of just four teams this season to go 197.000 or higher this season. The Crimson Tide have three gymnasts among the top 10 in the nation on various events including Kayla Hoffman (vault and beam), Diandra Milliner (vault and floor) and Geralen Stack-Eaton (beam).
The Wolverines have not had much luck against Alabama, trailing 13-1 all-time and 2-0 in regular-season dual meets. The last time the two teams met during the regular season was in 2003 in Tuscaloosa. Alabama has never competed at Crisler Arena during the regular season, visiting just twice before for the 1995 and 1997 NCAA Regional Championships.
