Wolverines Represented by Four Scholastic All-Americans

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Four members of the 2012-13 University of Michigan women's gymnastics team were named Scholastic All-Americans by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W), the organization announced recently. Seniors Teresa Arthur (Tulsa, Okla./Bishop Kelley) and Stephanie Colbert (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) along with recent graduates Brittnee Martinez (2010-13) and Katie Zurales (2010-13) were given the honor.

In order to be named a Scholar All-American, student-athletes must have a grade-point average of 3.50 or better during the 2012-13 academic year. Arthur and Colbert have received the honor all three years of their collegiate careers.

Junior Brooke Parker (Lorton, Va./South County Secondary) also received Scholastic All-America honors. She transferred from the University of Alabama over the summer.
