ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan women's lacrosse fans can get a sneak peak at the 2014 Wolverines on Saturday (Feb. 15) when they host a fan-friendly open practice event at 4:30 p.m. inside Oosterbaan Field House.
Fans will have the opportunity to view an hour of practice, get autographs from the entire team and coaching staff, and interact with their favorite Wolverines. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Fans should enter Oosterbaan Fieldhouse on the north side of the building, located south of the Wilpon Baseball and Softball Complex.
Fans in attendance can also enter to win several giveaways, including women's lacrosse ticket packages and Michigan lacrosse memorabilia. Two men's basketball tickets located in the Wolverine Den for the game on Sunday, Feb. 16 versus Wisconsin will also be raffled off. The Wolverine Den is a private seating area which includes all-you-can-eat food.
Head coach Jennifer Ulehla will lead the Wolverines in the program's inaugural season, which will begin on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Villanova, while the home opener is slated for Friday, Feb. 28, against Marquette at Oosterbaan Field House.
