Every other week, the women's lacrosse staff will countdown 101 ways to help you get to know the program before the first teams steps foot on campus in August 2013. Go Blue!

In this edition of 101 Ways to Get to Know Women's Lacrosse, we'll reveal four things you didn't know about assistant coach Jen Valore.

Did You Know (Coach Valore Edition):

61. Coach Valore's father and brother are also coaches. Her dad was a long-time (35 years) head boys' basketball coach at Cherry Hill East High School in New Jersey and is now in his first year as the head coach at Cumberland Regional (N.J.) after retiring from teaching. Her brother, also a teacher, is the head boys' lacrosse coach at St. Augustine Preparatory School (N.J.).

60. Coach Valore moonlights as an adjunct professor in sport management. Her favorite courses to teach are her graduate level course in sports information and public relations, and her undergraduate coaching principles course.

59. Coach Valore's all-time favorite lacrosse moment to date was winning the NCAA quarterfinal game as a senior captain at James Madison University to earn the school's first-ever trip to the Final Four in 2000.

58. Coach Valore has an artistic side and enjoys designing jewelry. She started creating jewelry pieces just out of college, and while only a few friends and family members can be found wearing her designs, she would love to one day develop her own line and sell her handmade jewelry creations!
