It may not have been the outcome we were hoping for, but the journey was more than any of us could have imagined. For most of us, like myself, we spent two years preparing ourselves mentally and physically for the challenges that being a part of Team One at the University of Michigan would bring -- thousands of hours of sprints and countless wall-ball sessions all leading up to our arrival here in the fall.

It's true what they say, you never really appreciate what you have until it's gone. And this thing that we all had been preparing for for so long seemed to flash before our eyes. Yes, we lost some games we should have won, but what we'll remember as we look back on Team One, now and in twenty years, is not the wins and loses but everything that we did to get there and everything we experienced and accomplished along the way.

Yes, losing to Ohio State isn't how we wanted to go out, but it makes us hungry for more, and ultimately that's not how we'll be remembered. The legacy we leave is that we fought with pride and love for each other and for the block M, and we made impacts every day. One of our goals this season was to make a difference and I think we did just that.

We'll all go home this summer with that pit in our stomachs and use it as fuel as we prepare for our second inaugural season. We weren't ready to say goodbye to Team One but we're lucky to have three more seasons to prove ourselves as champions and we plan on doing just that. It was bittersweet as we said our goodbyes and as we turned the chapter from Team One -- a season in our lives filled with so many memories -- to Team Two, but we know that this is just the beginning. We are so excited that we get the opportunity to continue this journey for the next three years together and make countless more memories!

Throughout the summer I'll be checking in with updates from the team across the country. I'll tell you all about summer school, internships and vacations but most importantly I'll give you a look into our training and what being a division one athlete is all about -- working to get better every day.
