ANN ARBOR, Mich.-- University of Michigan women's lacrosse head coach Jennifer Ulehla announced the program's fall schedule today (Wednesday, Aug. 27), which will include four weekends of competition, starting with a home matchup with Marquette on Sept. 28.
The Wolverines will welcome the Golden Eagles to Oosterbaan Field House for a 1 p.m. matchup. Marquette was one of three teams that participated in U-M's inaugural fall tournament a year ago.
Next up, the Maize and Blue will take on Louisville and Towson, both of which were 2014 NCAA Tournament participants, at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md., on Sunday, Oct. 5.
On Saturday, Oct. 18, Michigan will travel to Manhasset, N.Y. for a matchup with USC, as well as other teams that will be announced at a later date.
Michigan will cap its fall season at Duke University in Durham, N.C., playing another pair of 2014 NCAA Tournament opponents in Duke and Florida.
Michigan will open its second season as a varsity program with two road games at Florida (Feb. 14) and Winthrop (Feb. 22), while the Wolverines will begin home action on Feb. 28 versus St. Bonaventure inside Oosterbaan Fieldhouse.
