77. Favorite holiday tradition ...
"Each morning leading up to Christmas, my nieces and I have a very festive way of waking up our family. We quietly sneak downstairs, power on the CD player and blast our favorite song -- 'We Need a Little Christmas.' Together we dance around by the Christmas tree while singing every word with hopes that everyone will be out of bed and downstairs dancing with us before the song ends. It gets me in the holiday spirit just thinking about it ... give it a try!" - Coach Ulehla
"My favorite holiday tradition is the hanging of my ornaments on my parent's Christmas tree. Since my brother (JC) and I have gotten older and moved out of the house, my mom always saves about four or five ornaments from our childhood each year for JC and me to hang on the tree when we arrive for the holidays." - Coach Valore
76. Favorite holiday movie ...
"Most definitely the black and white version of It's a Wonderful Life." - Coach Ulehla
" 'Fra-gee-lay. That must be Italian.' If you know that quote, or even perhaps have a special lamp in your front room window during the holidays, you know what movie is my favorite. The Christmas Story is a true classic and it never gets old. I look forward to watching the marathon every year!" - Coach Valore
75. Favorite holiday food ...
"Everything!" - Coach Ulehla
"Pitzelles. They are a traditional Italian waffle cookie and a Valore Christmas tradition. It's a rather simple cookie, but don't let that fool you -- not all pitzelles are alike and my Aunt Roseann makes the best around! " - Coach Valore
74. Favorite holiday album/song ...
"Album - The Carpenters: Christmas Portrait. Song - We Need a Little Christmas." - Coach Ulehla
"My favorite holiday song is Silent Night -- it's so beautiful and peaceful. Every year it would be the last song we sang in church on Christmas Eve and we did so with the lights out and candles lit. It was the perfect prelude to Christmas Day." - Coach Valore
