ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Due to icing on the Grand River, the University of Michigan rowing team's road Big Ten Double Dual with Minnesota and Wisconsin on Saturday (April 12) will be moved from Michigan State's home venue to Belleville Lake.
Michigan will compete against Minnesota in the morning session at 9 a.m. before taking on Wisconsin in the afternoon at 1 p.m.
The Wolverines will host their first event of the spring season this weekend after traveling to Oregon State and Ohio State over the past two weekends to start the year. Michigan's 1V4 crew -- Emma Knorps (Coxswain), Kaitlin Wright, Karla McDaniel, Priscilla Livingston and Sarah Hudnall -- has earned victories in each of the last two events, recording its best time of the season (7:17.6) last weekend at the Oregon State Classic.
Michigan last took on Wisconsin and Minnesota on April 9, 2011 in a Big Ten Double Dual at Michigan State, sweeping the Gophers in the morning session and earning wins in the 1V4 and 2N8 in the afternoon session against Wisconsin.
